Telok Marine company — Singapore waterfront

Who We Are

Built on the water, shaped by the sea

Telok Marine was founded by people who grew up on Singapore's southern shore — and who believe that the water should be accessible to anyone willing to take a little time for it.

Our Story

From Keppel Bay to the Southern Islands

Telok Marine was established over a decade ago by a small group of maritime professionals who had spent years working on vessels along Singapore's southern coast. What started as a single-boat operation servicing private groups grew steadily as word spread that we brought a different standard of attention to each voyage.

Our name draws from the Malay word for bay — a nod to the natural harbours and sheltered inlets that define this coastline. It reflects our outlook: charters that move at the pace of the water rather than against it.

Today, we operate three distinct charter experiences, each designed around a particular kind of guest. We are not a boat hire service. We are a team that prepares, guides, and hosts — so that those aboard can simply be present.

Our Mission

To provide thoughtfully designed maritime experiences that connect people to Singapore's coastal environment — with care, competence, and a clear sense of place.

Our Perspective

We believe quality time at sea should feel considered, not rushed. Every charter is an opportunity to slow down and pay attention to where you are — on the water, in Singapore, in the moment.

Our Values

Preparedness, honesty, attentiveness. We do not overstate what we offer. We prepare thoroughly, communicate clearly, and show up ready — every time.

How We Operate

Standards we hold ourselves to

MPA Compliance

All vessels and crew operate under Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore regulations. Certifications are kept current and reviewed ahead of each charter season.

Regular Vessel Maintenance

Each vessel undergoes scheduled maintenance checks and is inspected by a qualified marine engineer before and after extended passages.

Safety Equipment

All vessels carry certified life jackets for all capacities, flares, EPIRB beacons, first aid kits, and fire suppression equipment in line with MPA requirements.

Weather Monitoring

We monitor Meteorological Service Singapore forecasts and marine advisories in the 48 hours before each departure and adjust plans when conditions warrant it.

Environmental Responsibility

We follow no-discharge practices in coastal waters, avoid anchoring on reef areas, and use biodegradable cleaning products across our fleet.

Guest Data Privacy

Guest information is collected only for booking purposes and is never shared with third parties outside of operational requirements. Handled in accordance with Singapore's PDPA.

Maritime charter knowledge earned on Singapore's waters

Yacht charter in Singapore sits at the intersection of a busy commercial port, a protected marine environment, and one of the region's most active recreational boating communities. Operating here requires more than a vessel and a crew — it requires familiarity with tidal patterns, awareness of port traffic protocols, knowledge of the southern island anchorages, and the kind of judgement that only comes from years on the water.

Telok Marine has developed its charter programmes around Singapore's specific coastal character — the afternoon thermals that build along the Labrador shoreline, the calm anchorages between the southern islands, the route through the Western Fairway that affords views of the container terminal and the distant Malay Peninsula. These are not generic itineraries adapted from elsewhere. They were designed here, for this water.

Our team brings together maritime qualifications, hospitality experience, and genuine enthusiasm for Singapore's coastal geography. Whether you are joining us for four hours or four days, you are in the care of people who know this stretch of sea well — and who take that responsibility seriously.
