Singapore · Midday Leisure Sail

We booked the midday sail for a colleague's farewell gathering. The crew had everything arranged before we arrived — food, drinks, towels for the swim stop. No one had to worry about logistics. Just a genuinely pleasant afternoon.

Singapore · Cultural Heritage Cruise

I have lived here my whole life and did not know half of what the historian covered. The route past Pulau Brani and the old docks puts Singapore in a completely different perspective. The Peranakan lunch was exceptional. A rare experience.

Singapore · Luxury Multi-Day Passage

Three nights at sea was something we had talked about for years. The crew anticipated everything. The chef adjusted meals for my wife's dietary restrictions without making it a production. The sundeck on the second evening, drinks in hand — that image stays with me.

Kuala Lumpur · Midday Leisure Sail

We visited Singapore for a long weekend and added the midday sail on a recommendation. The captain read the conditions well — we ended up anchoring near a quieter stretch of coast that was not on the original route. A proper highlight of the trip.

Singapore · Cultural Heritage Cruise

We brought a group of international visitors for the heritage cruise. Their knowledge of Singapore beforehand was minimal. By the time we docked, they were asking where they could read more. The historian pitched the commentary perfectly for a mixed audience.

Singapore · Luxury Multi-Day Passage

Four days felt appropriate — not rushed, not too long. We covered the southern islands at a pace that let us actually pay attention. The fishing on day three was the highlight for some in our group; the reef exploration on day four was mine. A well-structured trip.

Charter Stories

Three groups, three different kinds of time at sea

The situation

A family reunion with elderly members

A family of fourteen, with grandparents aged in their seventies, wanted a shared experience that would not exclude anyone. Several family members had never been on a vessel larger than a ferry.

What we did

We suggested the Midday Leisure Sail with a modified route that kept closer to sheltered waters. The captain briefed the family on boarding and movement on deck. The crew paid particular attention to comfort for the older guests without drawing attention to it.

How it went

The family spent four hours together without looking at their phones. The grandmother, who had been uncertain before departure, was the last to want to come ashore. They have rebooked for later this year.

The situation

A school group studying Singapore's port history

A secondary school teacher was looking for an experiential component to accompany classroom learning about Singapore's maritime development. A boat trip that would make the material tangible.

What we did

The Cultural Heritage Cruise was adapted with curriculum-linked commentary. The historian adjusted the level of detail for a student audience and incorporated questions throughout. The printed booklet doubled as a reference for the class project that followed.

How it went

The teacher reported that students who had shown limited engagement in class were asking questions on board. Several used photographs and notes from the voyage in their final submissions. Two more school groups have since booked.

The situation

A couple marking a significant anniversary

A couple celebrating twenty-five years together wanted something that felt considered rather than generic. They had done the hotel packages. They wanted to be somewhere that felt genuinely different.

What we did

The Luxury Multi-Day Passage was arranged with a route chosen partly around their preferences — they had mentioned an interest in snorkelling. The chef prepared a menu that reflected both of their tastes. Evening cocktails were timed to the sunset on each night.

How it went

They described it as the best four days they had spent together in recent memory. The crew gave them space while remaining quietly present. They sent a note afterwards that ended with the words: "We felt looked after without being managed."
